The Challenge

Queenstown Country Club Clubhouse

The Queenstown Country Club Clubhouse, developed by Arvida and designed by Warren & Mahoney, is a landmark retirement and hospitality facility set against the stunning backdrop of Queenstown. As part of a premium development of this scale, the building required a robust, discreet security infrastructure — including access control and CCTV — that would meet the safety needs of residents and staff without compromising the exceptional aesthetic of the space.

The Solution

Teltrac was engaged as part of the wider project team to design and install a comprehensive access control and CCTV solution throughout the Queenstown Country Club Clubhouse. The security systems were carefully integrated into the building’s design to ensure full coverage and functionality while complementing the high-end finish of the space.

Key Elements

  • Site-wide access control solution managing entry points throughout the clubhouse
  • CCTV system providing comprehensive surveillance coverage across all key areas
  • Security infrastructure integrated seamlessly into the award-winning architectural design by Warren & Mahoney
  • Delivered as part of a fully collaborative project team alongside Arvida and the wider build contractors

Why This Solution

  • A retirement and hospitality facility of this calibre demands security systems that are both reliable and unobtrusive — protecting residents and staff without detracting from the environment
  • Integrated access control ensures only authorised individuals can access restricted areas, providing peace of mind for residents, families, and management alike
  • A well-designed CCTV system deters incidents and provides a clear record should any security event occur
  • Teltrac’s involvement as a collaborative project team member ensured security systems were planned from the outset, avoiding costly retrofits and ensuring a clean installation

Installation

Teltrac worked closely with the Arvida development team and Warren & Mahoney throughout the construction phase, ensuring access control and CCTV systems were installed to specification and fully integrated with the building’s infrastructure. All works were coordinated to align with the wider construction programme, delivering a clean, on-time result befitting the prestige of the project.

Outcome

The Queenstown Country Club Clubhouse was recognised at the Designers Institute of New Zealand Best Awards, receiving a Silver Award in the Spatial category — a testament to the quality of the entire project team’s work. Teltrac is proud to have played a part in delivering this exceptional building.

“This successful project was a fully collaborative effort, and it’s a great achievement to be recognised with this award.”
